IMPORTANT NEWS 01/08/04 A BIG well done to Ron Kiddell of R K Tuning for winning the drag shootout in his R32 GTR at TOTB3, believe me his launches up the strip are a sight to behold.... and on a personal note well done to a mate Peter Everett (R33 GTR) with his best ever 1/4 mile at 10.87 and a top speed (at 1.25mls) of 187mph, also at TOTB3, no prizes but so very close... well done :-)), had the pleasure of driving his car on a Brands GP circuit trackday in June, an awesome awesome car with some 600bhp :o) Needless to say Skylines took the team trophy yet again and the overall winner for an incredible third time the Abbey Motorsport prepared R33 GTR of Rocket Ronnie... BIG BIG respect guys :-)) |

05/10/03 Sad to report that the Taxi was rear ended recently :-(, it did not seem too bad at the time, however the plastic bumper hid the true extent of the damage. It is currently in the hands of the insurance companies and possibly may be 'written off' or more accurately uneconomic to repair, see these pictures... PIC 1, PIC 2, PIC3, PIC4 & PIC5 18/01/03 Time, I thought, for a major update.. so lets do it :-)). Some of the older pages are gone, many still to update, so what do you think, better ??, comments welcome Ron |

I had 'toyed' with adding a message forum, but tech problems, so I have added links, to the UK GTR Register and Skylines Downunder (SDU) based in NZ, both have GTS members, the UK GTR Register, on which I post under the name of RonS, has regular UK meets (next 4th May at the Grasshopper pub (Kent), I'll be there but don't let that put you off :-), trackdays, dyno days, technical stuff. Skylines Downunder, which has mostly GTS members, covering R30's to R34's of every type, and is excellent for your technical questions, they've seen it, fixed it and modified it.... so become a member of one today !! I have also added link, to PROJECT R32 info and stuff done/pending on my car, including a dyno test on the 27/04/02 |

22/02/02 Due to Freeservers cutting back on it free hosting, the website has moved here (skylinegts.co.uk), although via another free host, I don't want to talk about :-( A BIG BIG THANK YOU goes to Steve A, for saving the day (poetry too eh!), for providing me with this webspace, not only that but the domain name skylinegts.co.uk as well..... and if that were not enough he provided it at NO COST, nil, zero, free !!, what a guy :-).... so can I have me car back now as well....free ?? :-) Have also taken the opportunity to have a rehash of the site, in particular 'owners cars' page and hope to add more standard and modified cars, with details of mods and hopefully some dyno results |

21/11/01 Sold the 200SX (see below)......now car-less :-( well apart from my trusty '91 Micra (owned since '92 and never let me down)..... oh!! and my little 'Red Rocket'.....660cc of Turbo charged, rear wheel drive mayhem !! and it'll do 40+MPG too.........a whole lot of fun :-)

Sad to say that I have sold the Skyline (sob, sob) and bought this, a 1992 200SX.....although quick in a straight line it's no Skyline, particularly round the twisty bits !!, but adding 7.5Jx17's has helped. It's a long story I won't bore you with....So what is to become of an ex-Skyline pilot ?? |
